Mindful of the Environment At Lenovo, we are committed to sustainability and we take steps to minimize our impact on the environment. The ThinkPad X13 Gen 5 laptop uses 90% recycled magnesium on the keyboard frame and 55% recycled aluminum on the bottom cover. The speaker and battery enclosures are both made from 90% post-consumer content (PCC) recycled plastic. Even the keycaps feature up to 85% PCC, while the AC adaptor is crafted with up to 90%. What’s more, our packaging is Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC)-certified and composed of 100% recycled and/or biobased, and/or sustainably-forested content. Engineered to Endure We use the US Department of Defense's MIL-STD 810H to create a balance of reliability and durability for ThinkPad laptops.
